I am really sorry about your cold feet. It was almost 60 here is St Louis this morning and is supposed to be snowing by 5pm this afternoon. Talk about bizarre. Enough about that though....this little bug you shot here is so cute.

adorable shots! it's actually chilly here in florida - i think it was in the low 30s this morning! hopefully that makes you feel at least a little better :)

I don't think California would be the best choice either. I live in So Cal and it has been rainy and freezing for the past week and a half. I want my perfect sunny 72 degree weather back!!! I am sitting in my house working right now and I can't seem to get warm. Maybe we should all go to Hawaii or something!

Brrrrr..... I can feel it too! Chicago is CRAZY cold! I LOVE that green chair!

I feel for you. My feet are cold too here in LA (lower alabama)! I love your work and your blog too! It always makes me smile.

Now wait a minute here, wasn't it you who said you almost had a panic attack from the humidity of Florida?? I think you should come to TEXAS! The weather has been perfect...a nice cool breeze, we're not even using our heater! :)

I hear ya girl.. I too have had it with winter.. blah..

jenny

i am sick of winter as well. the thought of sun and warmth makes me giddy. ahhhh. what an adorable little subject you had for these shots!

My friend recently showed me your photography site and I can't stop going to it. I teach school and I leave the music on all day and keep going back to see the colors of your pictures and how you capture such beautiful moments. I LOVE your work! I only wish I lived a little closer so I could hire you!!

I empathize with the coldness -- down comforter and ice cube feet are well-traveled ground for me as well. Have you ever thought of making one of those rice/bean bag things to keep your feet warm at night?

I found a cloth bag I had around the house, filled it with rice and beans (uncooked, of course), and sealed off the top of the bag. Then at night, I microwave that sucker for five minutes and keep it by my feet in bed. So easy! Of course, you could make it fancier by sewing a pretty fabric pouch or something, but I'm all about speed.

I'm with you on the weather thing. It would be great if it could be summer all year round. Love the pictures of this girl! so cute! Thanks for all of your inspiring photos

heather

So sorry you are freezing. I'm from Florida, but spent the week in DC and I'm telling you I was one happy camper when I stepped off the plane in Tallahassee (north florida at that!) to 70 degree weather. Happy day, happy day!

Just think about how we'll be melting into a puddle on the steaming sidewalks by mid July. It might not be the best trade off!
