Well, I've kicked off the senior season to a good start. Words cannot express the fun I had photographing this amazing girl. We headed out to the farm for the session and we could not have asked for a more gorgeous evening. I could have continued taking her picture for HOURS, but the sun set and we ran out of light. Even then I was jacking up my ISO trying to get in those last few shots before dark. I came home that night and said to my husband, "Honey, I should have married a farmer." It was so beautiful out in the country. There were dogs running in and out of the white fences playing with the horses, the sound of crickets, a fresh smell in the air. It was like heaven. No offense East Grand Rapids, but you do not compare to the serene beauty of a countryside farm in the evening.

Amy, I'm a big fan of your work! You've got some fantastic photography out there. This senior session is inspiring as well. Way to go. :)

And you're right, EGR doesn't quite have the same appeal.

love the feel of the session! i checked out all of them on your site and i just gotta tell ya, number 39 on there looks like it is straight out of an ann taylor loft flyer. way to go big model photographer!

Amy - you don't know me, but I came to know your blog (and your pictures) through Kristen, your sister-in-law (whom I know through her blog!). I am in love with your photos, your technique and unique-ness. I only wish I lived near you (or an America at least!) so I could get my photos done and be just as beautiful. You've said before that you use photoshop - you must be such a pro!
