Studio to Street
We started out in the studio, but he was all over the place and ready to run just like any typical toddler, so we decided to make better use of our time and just do the photo shoot outside. The great thing about my studio is that its located in the best part of downtown for photo shoots. You just fall out the back door and there are all the alleys! It makes it really versatile for session possibilities.
This one cracks me up: must have mommy AND puppy!
I feel like the dog is looking at me, like "what is going on?"
The creative way to suck your thumb.
I think the puddles were his favorite part of this whole experience. At one point his hands were covered in mud and we had nothing to wipe them on. So I volunteered my jeans. Hey, if it means I can keep taking pictures I'll do just about anything required!

I follow Lori's photostream on flickr and after she posted her shots of the shoot, I got hooked into your blog, but I have to say that these photos are amazing. Having two kids of my own I find it near impossible to get any good photos of them, but these look effortless.

I'm sure mom or David has told you this by now, but this is how David used to suck his fingers, until mom bribed him with He-Man's Castle Grayskull to stop. While sucking said fingers, he would snuggle his 'blank' and cup mom's cheek with his other hand. This was all called 'plugging in.' He was the cutest little boy...

Castle GraySkull was worth it! And if I had been any smarter I would have held out for more goods. I was such a poor negotiator at 3 years old... but I was cute.

I'm good friends with Lori, Scott and the boy. These shots are amazing! My favorite was the puppy staring at you, too!

You do great work! Saw your link on OSP, welcome to the club.
Also, GREAT taste in music, some of my favorites in your little player. I will have to get one of those for our blog.
